📐 N4 · Measurement and Geometry

Per the ACER Assessment Framework, Measurement and Geometry makes up approximately 20–30% of the LANTITE Numeracy test — roughly 13 to 20 of the 65 questions (estimate only; precise counts vary between test forms).

The 11 lessons in this course cover length, area, perimeter, volume and capacity, time and timetables, scale drawings, map reading and direction, angles, and 2D/3D shape reasoning. We pay extra attention to the unit conversions examiners use to catch candidates off-guard — cm to m, g to kg, mL to L, square units, cubic units — and the distinctive LANTITE map-reading question type, which requires both directional reasoning and scale interpretation.

Every example is set in a context a teacher would actually encounter: laying out a classroom, planning a sports day, ordering art supplies, reading a school floor plan. The end-of-course quizzes (4A calculator, 4B no-calculator) bring it all together with worked solutions for every question.
