Spelling is the most directly learnable skill in LANTITE Literacy. This course systematically covers the patterns that cause errors — homophones, double consonants, suffix rules, drop-the-e patterns — and the precise question formats the test uses. The signature short-answer typed item, where the candidate either corrects the misspelt word or types N for no error, gets its own dedicated lesson.

• High-frequency homophones (their/there/they’re, its/it’s, principle/principal, piqued/peaked/peeked, bare/bear)
• Double consonants and the doubling rule (occurred, beginning, preferred)
